I had some dreams ... they were klowns in my koffee.

(With apologies to Carly Simon)

This is my journey through job transition from a toxic environment to a better life. Join me for a few thoughts and a few laughs along the way.
What are "klowns in my koffee"? They are the factors large and small that make you less than you are. A "klown" can be a grossly incompetent boss,
a short-sighted policy or a moronic coworker. They won't kill you, at least not immediately, but they abrade the soul
as you scrape past them to get through the day. Sometimes it's best to dump them out of the cup.

Day 133 - Kristmas in August

Daily Kup (My Life as a Gainfully Unemployed Person)

Heat index up, motivation index down. The lure of air conditioning brought us to the bulls-eye store and the annual hunt for school supplies. Backpacks are now brimming and hung by the door.

The grass may not be always greener on the other side of the fence, but it's often cooler when when it's dead and under two feet of snow. Enjoy these cool weather shots from February with your iced tea or any other available frosty beverage:

Ah, feels cooler already ...

So, is the air conditioner even repairable? Perhaps I should come over and rig something up so it would drain in the near vicinity of the floor drain.
Hmm, let me see. I have some scrap copper tubing there, some pvc over there, a bit of foil tape, a plastic clothes hanger, some epoxy.... Oh, wait. You don't want me to blow it up.
