I had some dreams ... they were klowns in my koffee.

(With apologies to Carly Simon)

This is my journey through job transition from a toxic environment to a better life. Join me for a few thoughts and a few laughs along the way.
What are "klowns in my koffee"? They are the factors large and small that make you less than you are. A "klown" can be a grossly incompetent boss,
a short-sighted policy or a moronic coworker. They won't kill you, at least not immediately, but they abrade the soul
as you scrape past them to get through the day. Sometimes it's best to dump them out of the cup.

Day 218 - Happy Halloween!

Daily Kup (My Life under the Blue, Blue Sky)
Burning Khrome takes a vacation from writing the Kazakhstan adoption story this Sunday.

We went to the Arboretum to decorate pumpkins, hear a concert, and wander around through the leaves. For the first time in many years, we had so many trick-or-treaters that we exhausted our cauldron of goody bags and were forced to extract from the overflowing bags that our kids brought back to supply the need. This brings recycling and green living to a new level. Next year, if I can send my kids out early enough to prime the pump, I wouldn't have to buy candy at all! Yes, that's Halloween socialism -- out there redistributing the wealth.
