I had some dreams ... they were klowns in my koffee.

(With apologies to Carly Simon)

This is my journey through job transition from a toxic environment to a better life. Join me for a few thoughts and a few laughs along the way.
What are "klowns in my koffee"? They are the factors large and small that make you less than you are. A "klown" can be a grossly incompetent boss,
a short-sighted policy or a moronic coworker. They won't kill you, at least not immediately, but they abrade the soul
as you scrape past them to get through the day. Sometimes it's best to dump them out of the cup.

"A Rebublic, Madame. If you can keep it."

Modern Americans can be divided into two groups with this:

"Its too late to apologize."

One group will recognize that that any concilliatory overtures from Parliament were too few, and far too late to avoid war.

The others will think that it was "too late" for the colonists to apologize and debase themselves further before a distant, and uncaring King.

I was interested in the origin of this compelling viral video and traced it back to http://soomopublishing.com/declaration/. The video was widely re-posted and strangely used as the poster child to further the political viewpoints of both the right and the left, though to me the work stands well enough on its own as an integrative force without the need to dissect it for ways to poke the opposing team in the eye. There are enough other opportunities to do that.

There is a variation that someone has created and posted on YouTube where a prescient John Kennedy speech is layered over the top.
